Do you like root beer?

My daughter told me people in other countries hate root beer, so I'm curious to see if that's true.

My first steady job was as a cook at an A&W. I was the one who had to mix the root beer.

Ice cold A&W root beer straight from the draft pump or a glass bottle, poured into a frosted mug over vanilla ice cream = YUM!

Rather have a real beer :yum:

Never tried it, never seen it for sale.

Seem to remember getting one from McDonalds years ago and not being impressed - dunno if that was 'cause McDs UK got it wrong, wasn't in the mood or it wasn't an actual beer. Perhaps if I find it somewhere and decide to give it a try again I might find I do like it, or not

I read that in 1992 McDonald's in the UK was only selling root beer in select locations and they quit selling it altogether in 1993. The reason was they could only carry so many types of soda and they went with what was most popular.
