Before I forget ( again ) ... Act 4: Story Costas Becker goes to war with Fat Tony and the Cropfather, with Tony becoming increasingly frustrated as Homer can’t remember why Becker would be after him. After a close escape from one of Becker’s murder attempts, Fat Tony’s boys and Becker’s go to war in the streets of Springfield. Mayor Quimby finally takes executive action to make things illegal again, starting with gang wars — not out of concern for public safety, but because the lack of illegality was making it hard for him to drum up “campaign donations”. With Becker seemingly blown up by the mob and the gang war over, Fat Tony happily surrenders to the authorities and then happily “campaign contributions” his crew and Homer out of jail. When Homer gets home, Marge asks him about the loan he took out from Costas Becker’s boss way back when he grew tomacco the first time (oh, and of course Becker’s not dead).
