Sorry I have been MIA the last couple of days - my dad had surgery on Wednesday (it was planned), and I was at the hospital pretty much the whole day. I was exhausted by the time I got home (was up at 6am - after only 4 to 5 hours of sleep - to get him ready, left here just after 8am, was at the hospital from just before 9am, got home just after 10pm).
Then yesterday I slept most of the morning, had a nap in the afternoon, then went to visit him in the evening.
He is home now, and getting back to his regular grumpy old British man self :grinning:

He is definitely back to himself today - he wanted to take charge of the garbage and recycling because he thinks he’s the only person who can do it right.
