Expensive evening yesterday - while on her walk, Sophie managed to grab a takeaway chicken leg bone some thoughtless BA steward dropped on the ground. Only found out when I heard her crunching it. Long story short, she’s in distress and off to the vets. Sedation + x-rays + exam = scraped oesophageal tract from bone which is now in her tummy. Hoping it dissolves inside and passes through without perforating her digestive tract. Better this morning, but people who litter really anger me, especially today.

Better today. Went back to the vets and they’re satisfied with her progress, just hoping the bone in her tummy dissolves and breaks up without perforating her digestive system.
