Yup, I remember that part. I haven't read that book in years, though. Has anyone read Ghost Story by Peter Straub? That was one of scariest books I've ever read. They made a movie of it, but the movie sucked.

Yes I’ve read The Shining, not for a long time though. I haven’t read Ghost Story but I do like a scary book. At the moment I’m reading Storyland by Amy Jeffs, I’m really interested in mythology and folklore at the moment.
