A friend of mine on FB has a Poecilotheria Metallica as a pet. It looks like my profile picture. It lives in a terrarium and she has never touched it. I sent her a copy of my profile picture and asked if it was her. I can’t repeat what her answer was (a little too salty) but she definitely agrees with Brooders about them. Here is hers.

When they’re that big a newspaper is just a minor irritation. Best to used a 100 foot (30.5 metres) roll of heaven duty aluminum foil. Or a cricket bat. Or a 50 caliber machine gun. Or as Castiel would suggest, nuke it.
