The power company has picked today to replace the power cable to my street, causing periodic blackouts and turning off my WiFi and the fans keeping me and the dogs cool. Deep joy

I don't envy you at all Reddy_Rachael . I commuted for near on 20 years in London on the tube. 1 hour there and 1 hour back ... and I will NEVER do it again. I am shocked how anyone puts up with the cramp conditions. In fact tube travel scares me now. :grin:

Fun fact: Riding for 20 minutes each way on the Underground does damage to your lungs the equivalent of smoking 1 cigarette.

We have had a beach hut this week at work so I have been pushing lovely old people up and down the sea front and making sure that they are in the shade and well hydrated and covered in sun screen whilst obviously forgetting all about myself and I am pretty much dead on my feet now!
