If I heard the story correctly, they didn’t speak for weeks, and mom had to pay her for the use of her image. The family pictures I see on FB are very telling. My granddaughter isn’t seen with mom and her third husbands family.

That's a shame as it is a really nice picture but yeah you shouldn't use it without permission and maybe she doesn't want to be the face of a bar!

What a viroqua? Is it like a verruca?

Looked up Viroqua (Wisconsin). Population 4,300 so small town where everyone knows everyone else and social circles are small and close-knot. If I was her in that situation, I’d have blown my top.

Mind you, it’s pretty hard to go wrong owning a bar in Wisconsin. There’s more alcoholism there than you can shake a tumbler at.

And you all thought the Scots and Irish were bad. I lived about a mile from Porterfield WI and there were 5 commercial buildings in town. 3 were bars.

That is a beautiful picture of your granddaughter @spyder :heart: I think that it would of been lovely if it was a family business but seeing as the relationship is fractured then I don’t understand why it was used.

Her mothers greed impelled her to use the image without permission. It was almost two weeks after the ad was made before my granddaughter saw it..
