Act 2: Story Homer is bummed that Kliff sent them to a literal dump, but when Bart points out the Food Truck Graveyard, Homer gets excited about buying an old food truck on the cheap – until it turns out that its overrun with cockroaches. Marge talks a dejected Homer into going to Crazy Vaclav’s Place of Automobiles, but Homer becomes upset by Vaclav’s inventory of tiny, boxy, European-style cars. Krusty, who’s there because Vaclav is his kosher caviar connection, talks Homer into going with him to the Springfield Auto Show. At the Auto Show Homer is overcome by desire for an even more ridiculously over-accessorized truck and lets Krusty talk him into bidding on it in a charity auction. Of course Homer can’t actually afford his winning bid, which does not endear him to anyone.
