It is bloody ridiculous! My electricity and gas charges per unit have barely changed but my standing charge per day has almost doubled so like Graham-S said, that is was has hit hard!

My standing charge AND my unit charges have gone up by 50%. My estimated bill for the next 12 months is now £3,200. I’m grateful I got my new more efficient boiler in February at a heavy discount, and I’m going to install secondary glazing in the autumn to help keep the cold out.
