I always hated having to dial numbers with a lot of 9s and 0s. In an episode of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Midge's mother complains that Midge's number has too many 9s in it. :D

The 9’s and 0’s took forever to stop clicking! :D

The worst thing was getting one number wrong and having to start all over. :D

Oooo yes! That was a major ugh. :/

Katbird - Imagine what it must have been like over here and you needed the emergency services: the number here is 999.

Reddy_Rachael, I thought about that when they talked about how easy it would be to butt dial it, in an episode of Ted Lasso.

^ It was very easy to do so in the pre-smartphone era: the 9 button *had* to be unlocked, even when the rest of the buttons were locked. Now imagine what would happen if you carried it in your bag next to your keys.
