Story
Lisa tries to convince her family to care that they are, once again, living in a doggie dystopia, but after three previous takeovers, it seems that they can’t seem to muster the energy to care anymore. But Lisa has a trick up her sleeve, and tells Homer that if he helps Wiggum, Wiggum might be willing to cancel all his outstanding parking tickets. Homer is immediately on board with her, and Bart suddenly is too, as he has an extreme fear of missing out.
However, their desire to free the city from the paws of their doggie overlords leaves Santa’s Little Helper in a moral dilemma. Does he help his family to overthrow the dogs, or does he stay true to Rosa Barks, his love? Seeing his state, Lisa convinces her family to take him to see Lionel Budgie, the city’s Veterinarian, who informs them that he’s either torn between two loves or has a bad case of indigestion. But their concern helps Santa’s Little Helper make a decision, and he leads the family to the dog’s greatest enemy and their source of salvation. With his help, the Simpsons rally the people of Springfield and march on the Police Station. And as Laddie comes out to gloat and dismiss them, the people of Springfield…pull out their vacuum cleaners. The dogs, seeing their mortal enemies, take flight, and Springfield is saved.

Story
Wiggum manages to get out of the station with a well-placed dog treat bribe, and heads to City Hall to inform Quimby that things may have gotten a little out of hand. After some unproductive brainstorming, Quimby comes up with a plan to lure the dogs to a kennel and trap them in. Wiggum agrees, and then realizes that he’ll be acting as the bait. Luckily, he’s still got his old Dog-Proof Suit lying around, and after enlisting the help of Les Moore and his No Kill Kennel, the plan is put into action. But it seems that Laddie has spies everywhere, and Wiggum soon finds himself thrown into the kennel instead.
Meanwhile, Santa’s Little Helper has discovered a new love in Rosa Barks, though Lisa is wary of her as she’s Laddie’s right-paw pooch at the station. But it seems as if puppy love is the way of life these days.
Ralph is home watching his favorite superhero, Danger Dog, when the show is interrupted by breaking news from the No Kill Kennel, where Kent Brockman informs the city that the dogs have taken over and are demanding complete fealty. Seeing his father in trouble, Ralph leaps into action, taking up the mantle of Danger Dog himself. But when he arrives at the Kennel, he’s quickly talked into joining the dogs, and forgets all about his plan of saving his father. Things are looking bleak for Springfield!

Story
With the dogs now running the whole town like they own the place, Wiggum must get control of things, so he brings in Elaine Wolff from the Dognitive Behavioral Therapy Institute to find a solution to the pooch problem. After much canine psychoanalysis and consulting with the local Crazy Dog Man for his expertise, Elaine Wolff determines that the most effective response to the dogs will be to distract them with treats and fun, so they go about doing just that… adding a dog park, changing the Dog Pound into a Dog Playground, and of course putting doggie treat dispensers on every street corner. Unfortunately, these changes seem to only further convince the dogs that they are, indeed, the humans’ superiors, and the dogs crack down even further on their former masters, enlisting a gang of civilian dogs to start rounding up unruly humans. Wiggum is tired of playing the nice cop, and tired of everyone in town complaining just because he “created a terrifying police dog state”, so he hatches a plan…

Story
Wiggum is in hot water after the latest police department numbers are released, showing an abysmal arrest rate. Fearing for his job, Wiggum knows that he must make changes, and is aided by the timely arrival of Emily Winthrop and her Canine College. Emily offers Wiggum a solution to his problem, in the form of a platoon of highly trained police dogs capable of taking down criminals for him. While Wiggum is pleased with the results, he quickly loses control as the dogs are so smart that they’re practically running the department. Bart’s old dog Laddie has taken over Wiggum’s office and barks orders to her second in command, Rosa Barks, while hardboiled detective McGriff the Crime Dog digs into the town’s cold cases of missing dog bones and trying to solve the age-old mystery of who, in fact, is a good boy?
The people of Springfield are all too happy with the improvements to the police, but rumors have begun to swirl that Wiggum is no longer in charge down at the station. And while Wiggum is doing his best to let everyone know that he’s still the Chief of Police, it’s hard to get that information out from the basement.

Overview
With the Springfield Police Department’s abysmal arrest rate of late, Wiggum decides to bring on a fleet of police dogs and get them trained up for taking down perps. He hires Emily Winthrop and her Canine College to do the training, but her methods are so effective that before long the dogs are practically running the place and Wiggum has lost control of the department. The folks of Springfield are all too happy with the results of the new all-canine police force, run by Bart’s old dog Laddie and his second-in-command Rosa Barks. That is, until the dogs start to abuse the power vested in them, locking up anyone who refuses to give treats, and planting evidence of chewed up homework on humans to deflect blame from dogs. Elaine Wolff, from the Dognitive Behavioral Therapy Institute, is brought in to help find a solution to the pooch problem. But before long the entire police department is locked in a kennel and Springfield is living in a dog police state!
